Duke
Aquatics Diving is excited to offer three weeks of Summer day camps
starting in July of 2010. All
camps are held in
Durham
NC, on the beautiful campus of Duke
University .
The camps are open to new and experienced divers
between the ages of 6-18,
and are designed to build and encourage the sport of diving through both
dry land and aquatic training. The
camps will cover all aspects of springboard and platform diving, from
takeoffs to entries and everything in-between.
Utilizing our elite dry land facilities consisting of 4
trampolines, 5 dry boards, TiVo video analysis, tumbling area, and high
performance spotting belts, as well as our aquatic facilities containing
two 1m and two 3m springboards, ½, 5, 6,7, and 10 meter platforms, divers
will have opportunities no other camp in the area can offer.
Camps are limited to 30 campers per week
with a diver to coach ratio of
10:1.
Cost per week is $275.00 per diver, lunch
and snacks not included.
Sibling and multiple week discounts are available.
Available camp dates are: July
5-9; July 19-23, and July 26-30; All camps are Monday through Friday from
9am-4:30pm
.
Transportation from our gym to the pool is provided.
Cancellation policy: You may
cancel anytime up to 1 week prior to the camp, 30.00 of your fee is
non-refundable. After that time there will be no refunds.
